The idea is that AI could recombine known patterns to propose novels ones, with the potential to revolutionise drug discovery. $2.6M seed round. Angels in the round include Girish Mathrubootham (Freshworks), Manav Garg (Eka Software). Founders: two of the co-founders Govind and Srikant built Curio, the AI-driven news companion, together for eight years. Co-founder Suzanne (PhD in Biological Sciences, Monash) has been an external collaborator at DeepMind the past five years, while Edgar (not linked here) has been at Google for a decade including as Staff Research Scientist at DeepMind. It claims to be the first IVF chain with an integrated app, allowing patients to track treatment, access reports and stay informed. $4M seed round. AI agents for workflows across the lifesciences industry, starting with medical writing. As explained by Forbes, "the highly-regulated process of creating literature for regulators, healthcare professionals, patients and other key stakeholders is hugely costly for life sciences business" and also adds significant time to bring new treatments to market. "LogicFlo's approach has therefore been to develop a set of AI agents that can interact with life science companies existing technologies - systems such as Veeva and IQVIA - in order to automate the creation of the content they need. Every piece of literature produced can then be checked by a human being, but staff no longer need to spend countless hours developing the documents from scratch in the first place." $2.7M seed round. Startup working on vaccine delivery through a needle-less Microneedle Array Patch (MAP). The technology eliminates the need for a cold chain, with vaccine viability maintained on the patch for up to 120 days at 40 degrees C. Clinical trials begin next year - built for the Indian market as well as other low and middle income countries. ₹5.5CR ($650K) seed round. The founders spun this out of IIT Kharagpur’s Microelectronics and MEMS Lab. Founded in Calcutta in 2020.

The company provides personalised health services through in-house clinics, combining molecular diagnostics, high-resolution imaging and non-invasive testing. The first clinic opened in Bengaluru this March. It caters to two types of customers : those improving their overall health and performance; and those managing chronic or complex problems. CTO Shiva has been the Chairman of Connect Ventures for 20 years, which "operates as a collaborative network of companies dedicated to advancing Health, Performance and Sustainability Initiatives".
Medical devices company. It's first product, NoWound, is a negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT) device designed for controlled healing of complex wounds.
