Co-founder and CTO Manoj Kumar Gaddam oversees hardware development and optical innovations. Co-founder and COO Punit Badeka manages operations and drives engineering scale-up. The trio started EON in 2022 to bring “Make‑in‑India” optics to global markets.
Netrasemi is a Kerala-based startup that designs chips (they don’t manufacture them) to make small devices like cameras, sensors, robots, and drones smarter and more efficient. Their technology lets these devices process information on their own, without always needing the internet or cloud. making them faster, cheaper, and more secure to run. ₹107 CR Series A round led by Zoho Corporation and Unicorn India Ventures. Co-founder and CEO Jyothis Indirabhai leads product strategy and chip innovation. The other Co‑founders- Sreejith Varma and Deepa Geetha are experts in semiconductor systems.
Unibose is a Chennai-based deep‑tech robotics firm specialising in autonomous robots tailored for inspections, maintenance, and cleaning in highly dangerous, confined, or explosive environments. Their flagship platform- Zone‑0 ATEX‑certified operates inside active petroleum, chemical and gas storage tanks without human entry. The company provides Robotics‑as‑a‑Service (RaaS), allowing heavy‑industry clients (like oil & gas, chemical, fertilizer and manufacturing plants) to deploy advanced robot systems without upfront capital expenditure. ₹5.5 CR pre‑Series A round led by O2 Angels, with follow-on participation from IN44 Capital, Coimbatore Innovation & Business Incubator, and other strategic angel investors. QpiAI is a Bengaluru‑based deep‑tech firm combining quantum computing and AI to tackle complex industrial and scientific problems. They’ve created India’s first full-stack quantum computer, called QpiAI-Indus, which includes everything from the actual quantum hardware to the software needed to run complex algorithms. This system is built in-house and is designed to work across industries like pharma, manufacturing, and finance. It’s specifically designed to handle the heavy workloads of AI, machine learning, and cloud applications. By using high-speed memory to directly connect processors, their tech significantly cuts down on power usage and equipment costs, bringing down total cost of ownership by up to 80%. Coratia Technologies is a deep‑tech startup focused on underwater inspection. Born out of an NIT Rourkela student project in 2021, it developed cutting-edge remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) and autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs) that inspect infrastructure like dams, bridges, ports and even support national defence surveillance. Today, their Jaladuta and Jalasimha drones, capable of reaching depths of 150m and 300m respectively, are supported by clients including the Indian Navy, Railway, Tata Steel etc. $2M Pre‑Series A round led by MGF Kavachh to scale R&D, build Bangalore & Bhubaneswar production wings, and advance AUV capabilities. Debendra Pradhan, Co‑founder & CEO, turned his NIT Rourkela project into a commercial robotics firm and secured India’s first underwater robotics deal via Shark Tank. Biswajit Swain, Co‑founder & CTO, the technical architect behind Jaladuta and Jalasimha, piloting their sonar and autonomy systems.
Lamark Biotech is an Ahmedabad-based biopharma startup working to make essential biologic drugs like insulin and antibodies easier to store and transport. Their core innovation, the ProteoStrong platform, helps stabilize these drugs so they don’t need constant refrigeration, which is a major barrier in low-resource or remote areas. By removing cold-chain dependence, Lamark aims to make life-saving treatments more accessible and affordable, especially in places where medical infrastructure is limited. $ 6.5CR Pre‑Series A round led by IAN Group (via IAN Alpha Fund and BioAngels). It also included angel participation from Dr Vinayender Tulla, Dr Nita Roy, and Venkataraman KNK, all domain experts in biotech and healthcare. Two of them are not linked here. Loopworm is a Bengaluru-based biotech startup rethinking how the world produces protein- by using silkworms instead of traditional industrial reactors. Their “reactor-free” approach lets them grow useful proteins, enzymes, and other materials directly inside insect biomass, making the process faster, cheaper, and more scalable. Founded in 2019, the startup runs a 6,000-tonne/year insect-processing plant that exports products globally- serving aquaculture, pet food, diagnostics, and animal vaccine markets and has secured international certifications. $3.25M Pre‑Series A round led by WaterBridge Ventures and Enrission India Capital. Fabheads is a Chennai-based deep-tech venture founded in 2015, focused on automating composite manufacturing. Their proprietary Adaptive Tow Placement technology, including Asia’s first continuous-fiber 3D printer, enables automated fabrication of lightweight, high-strength carbon fiber parts. The startup serves aerospace, defense, mobility, drones, and clean-energy clients, including ISRO, Tata Group, and Motherson Group, and is building a new 100,000 sq ft manufacturing facility in Bengaluru to support rising demand. $10M Series A round led by Accel, with senior participation from Trifecta Capital, which contributed $2.3M in venture debt- bringing Fabheads’ total funding to $13M.
