Gaming consoles. A smart bat tracks a player's real-world shots, resulting in virtual shots within the MetaShot game. Bengaluru based. ₹11CR seed round, equity and debt (split not provided). ~₹3.5CR raised at pre-seed from IPV in 2023.
Handloom clothing brand. Running contrary to the fast fashion trend, it caters to women over 25 who are purchasing natural, handwoven fabrics. Funding will enable the brand to go beyond saris into everyday ethnic wear. Undisclosed amount. Other investors in the round: 3 Peaks Ventures, Ghazal Alagh (Mamaearth), Dhruv Koli (Founder, Boba Bhai), follow-ons participation by All in Capital, Sidhant Keshwani (Libas) and Vidur Kataria (Master Chow).
Mouth freshener brand. Manufacturing facility in Ahmedabad. Extension of a seed round now totalling ₹1.8CR. Initially raised ₹1.25CR, as part of this round, from 100X.VC in October 2023. Investors in this tranche: Dishit Nathwani (Gulab Oils), Prateek Toshniwal (Ivy Growth Associates), Abhinav Jain (CoinDCX), Ankit Jain, (PharmEasy).
Functional innerwear and shapewear for women, sold D2C and through marketplaces. ₹6.1CR raised in this pre-seed round. Angel investors in the round: Nikita Gupta (Housepital), Emmanuel Suraj (DefinEquity), Anuj Jain (Investwell), Anubhav Jain (Metalbook).
Direct-from-origin food brand across a wide range of products. With a focus on provenance of its products, the company partners with farmer collectives in natural farming clusters, with processing and packaging at origin. Omnichannel distribution: ecommerce, D2C and retailers in Delhi NCR. $2M raised in this pre-seed round by Jungle Ventures First Cheque.
Ethnic wear D2C brand working with 10,000 artisans across India. Currently at 15,000 orders per month, 85% through its own website. ₹4CR raised in this seed round. Other investors in this round include Peyush Bansal (Lenskart), Manoj Meena (Atomberg), Ankit Nagori (Curefoods), Hitesh Dhingra (The Man Company) and Aurinko Partners.
Men's personal care brand. Undisclosed amount raised from the former CEO of VLCC.
Dinnerware brand providing healthier alternatives to traditional dinnerware, including Bone China-free crockery, food-grade stainless steel cutlery and lead-free glasses. Neha Dhupia is a brand ambassador and investor. Undisclosed amount raised in this seed round.
Lab grown diamond startup. 5000 designs and a 1.7x customer repeat rate. Retails online with a store in Mumbai and additional stores opening in Mumbai and Delhi. $1M raised. Angel participation from founders of RENA-E Cosmetics, MamaEarth, Tracxn and Astrotalk.
